Day 1 - Tuesday 9th July - Outward Journey
We will leave school and drive to Dover to take the P&O Ferry to Calais. We recommend students take a packed lunch for the journey. On arrival in Calais, we will continue our journey to Futuroscope. We will check into our accommodation and have our evening meal. Time permitting, we could have a walking tour of the local area.

Day 2 - Wednesday 10th July – Futuroscope
After breakfast, we will spend the day in Futuroscope. With more than 50 million visitors since it opened, Futuroscope is one of the best-known and best-loved leisure parks in France and the only one of its kind in Europe. After our day in the park, we will return to our accommodation and have our evening meal.

Day 3 - Thursday 11th July – Futuroscope
After breakfast, we will spend our second day at Futuroscope. After our day in the park, we will return to our accommodation and have our evening meal.

Day 4 - Friday 12th July – Tours Market, Amiens Zoo and Homeward Journey
After breakfast, we will check out of our accommodation and start our journey home. En route, we will stop in Tours, a vibrant and friendly city, and explore the traditional market in St Paul, Blanqui or the Banks of the Cher. We will continue our journey to Amiens, where we will visit the Zoo which is home to approximately 300 animals from 60 different species. With animals originating from 5 continents, the zoo has a great variety of different animals, including 30 species which are considered to be severely endangered. We will then drive to Calais to take the P&O ferry to Dover. We will then return to school.
