Full Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday 26th - Outward Journey

We leave school in the morning and head for Dover to catch our P&O ferry to Calais. We recommend students take a packed lunch for the journey. We will set off for our hotel stopping en-route at the commercial centre at Amiens-Glisy where there is a hypermarket and a Flunch self-service restaurant for our evening meal (Flunch voucher included). We aim to arrive at our hotel at approximately 2100h.

Day 2 - Sunday 27th - Day at Parc Asterix (entrance included)

Breakfast will be taken and we will leave the hotel for Parc Astérix. We will spend the day in the park and we can use our meal vouchers to pick up our packed lunches in the park. We will leave the park when it closes and we will then go to the Flunch restaurant at Compiegne hypermarket and to buy an evening meal (Flunch voucher included). We aim to arrive back at the hotel at 2130h.

Day 3 - Monday 28th May - Full day in Paris

Montmartre

After breakfast we will pick up our packed lunches and we will leave the hotel. We will first visit the Stade de France, venue for the Euro 2016 football final (included, Rhapsody to reserve). Next we could visit Montmartre including the Sacré Coeur and the famous artists’ square (Place du Tertre). From here our coach could drop us at the Place de la Concorde. We can then walk through the Tuileries Gardens towards the Louvre and continue along the River Seine to the Notre Dame Cathedral. After our visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral, Our driver will then transfer us to Tour Montparnasse (Rhapsody to make reservation) and enjoy the spectacular view over Paris, we will visit the Champs Elysees which is the most famous avenue in the world. - An impressive street that stretched from Place the La Concorde to the Place Charles de Gaulle, the site of Arc de Triomphe. After visiting Arc De Triomphe, our evening meal will be at the Monte Carlo restaurant (Rhapsody to make a reservation).

Day 4 - Tuesday 29th May - Return Journey

After breakfast we will pick up our packed lunches, load our coach and check out of our hotel for our homeward journey. We will have a stop at Cité Europe in Calais for some shopping. We will depart from there and drive to Calais to catch our P&O ferry to Dover. We will then return to school in the evening.
